Mascot Wedding’s Mac and David are once again joining forces with Master Pancake Theater’s John and Joe. This time, the boys will be showing and mocking Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day, starring Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman and a veritable Who’s That? of stars. Starting July 4th, this is going to be a limited two-week run so don’t delay in seeing this classic celebration of blowing shit up and American ass-kicking. We heard this movie never leaves Toby Keith’s DVD player and with good reason.
The only downside, is that the radio program the Mascot Wedding show will be off the air on July 5th to accomodate one of the showings. The good news is Gigi, host of KOOP’s Slapback Flashback will be filling in, which should mean awesome 80s music.
